Can I change the chat widget's colors?

Yes. Each form has a main color and a background color in its settings, and the widget derives all of its tones from those two choices, including buttons, chat bubbles and input fields. If the background color is dark, the widget automatically switches to a dark theme. The floating launcher bubble follows the main color, and the embed code also accepts a color override.

Can I set the language of the embedded widget?

The widget uses the language configured on the form by default. You can override it per page by adding a language option to the embed code, which is useful when the same form is embedded on sites in different languages.

Can I show my own text above or below the embedded form?

Yes, for the floating widget. The embed code accepts a description text option that is shown above the form and a footer text option shown below it inside the floating card.

What do visitors see when they open the chat widget?

The chat opens with the header "How can we help?" and the subtitle "Ask a question and get an instant answer." The bot greets them with a short hello inviting them to ask anything, and there is a message box with the placeholder "Type your question...". The visitor types a question and presses enter or the send button; a typing indicator shows while the bot prepares its reply.

Is the chat widget protected against spam and abuse?

Yes. Starting a conversation is protected by invisible reCAPTCHA, and there are built-in limits: a visitor can send at most 60 messages per hour, a single conversation is capped at 30 messages, individual messages are limited to 4000 characters, and chat sessions expire after 24 hours. Only public forms with the chat bot enabled accept chat messages.

What does a visitor see after submitting a ticket through the widget?

Accepted Answer

A confirmation screen thanks them for their question, tells them a reply will be sent to the email address they entered, and shows the ticket's ID. A "Create another ticket" button lets them start over, which also begins a fresh chat session when the chat bot is enabled.
